OPublishing and Media was originally founded in 2009 by Richard Herrick, former Head of Commercial at Leeds Utd. Richard, who has over 12 years of experience within the sports industry, has secured over 50 publishing contracts with leading rights holders across many sports during the short time in which the company has been established. This has meant that OPublishing and Media has become the largest business of its kind in UK sport with an annual turnover of approximately £5m and in 2012/13 alone sold over 2 million publications throughout the UK and Ireland.
WHAT DO WE DO?
As a company we design and produce matchday & event programmes for over 30 football and rugby clubs throughout the UK and Ireland and are the leading supplier across the European sports market. Our publications are accessible online through our webshop as well as across the myriad of digital platforms now available with a number of our clubs having their own club specific mobile apps through which fans can view, purchase and subscribe to their matchday programme.
Our team of dynamic designers have many years experience in the field and work closely with their clubs, giving the editors a visually impressive and attractive tool in which to engage and inform their fans.
We are also delighted to be supported by the award-inning S&G Print Group, this means that all of our publications are printed to the highest possible standard using state-of-art press and production technology.

OPublishing and Media is the only publisher in world sport that has successfully produced and sold 3D programmes on match days. We have found that this unique process has typically increased sales by approximately 35% when used as a limited edition USP.
